Questions
The things people ask before they commit, answered plainly. Anything missing here reaches us at [email protected] and comes back the same working day.
01
Before you enquire
Do I need to know exactly where I want to go?
Most people arrive with a month in mind and a rough feeling, which is plenty to start with. Somewhere warm in December is a perfectly good brief. Narrowing it down is part of the job, and a loose idea with honest dates gets us further than a fixed plan does.
Why do you ask about budget on the form?
So the first proposal lands somewhere useful. A Maldives week runs anywhere from two lakh to twenty depending on the island and the villa, and guessing wrong costs you a week. Tell us the range and the first itinerary arrives close, rather than full of options that were never realistic.
Is there a minimum spend?
We keep a practical floor rather than a formal minimum. Most journeys we design sit between three and twenty-five lakh for the whole party. Below that a good booking site will usually serve you better, and we will say so plainly.
How quickly will I hear back?
Within four working hours, from a named person. Where a proper answer needs longer, that first reply tells you when it will land.
02
Planning and fees
What does the planning fee cover?
Design time, and quite a lot of it. Sourcing fares, comparing room categories against your priorities, checking seasons, holding reservations, and building the itinerary itself. It runs to ₹15,000 and comes straight back to you against the booking, so travelling with us makes it free.
What happens if I decide against travelling?
The fee stays with us as payment for the work already done, and the itinerary is yours to keep. You are free to book it elsewhere or leave it entirely.
How many revisions do I get?
As many as the journey needs. Most settle after two or three drafts, which is the process working, not stalling.
Do you charge commission on top?
We earn from a service charge, shown as its own line on your quote, and from supplier commissions where they exist. Both stay visible to you, because every number on the quote sits on its own line.
03
Money, tax and payments
Why is GST on my invoice?
We are a registered travel business in India, so GST applies by law and appears as a separate line. Your GSTIN goes on the invoice too if you need it for a business claim.
What is TCS and why am I paying it?
Tax Collected at Source applies to overseas travel arrangements under the Liberalised Remittance Scheme. We collect it at the prescribed rate, show it separately, and deposit it against your PAN. It works as a credit against your income tax when you file, so it comes back to you. The rate is set by the Government of India and moves from time to time.
How do I pay?
Bank transfer, or a secure payment link from our gateway. Card details are only ever entered on the gateway’s own secure page.
When is the balance due?
Usually 30 to 45 days before departure, with the exact date on your confirmation. Some peak-season rates and airfares need payment in full at booking, and we flag those before you commit.
04
While you travel
What happens if a flight gets cancelled?
You message one person and we handle it. A direct line stays open for the length of your trip, so rebooking, hotel changes and onward transfers get sorted while you are still standing at the gate.
Do you arrange visas?
We advise on requirements, prepare the documentation checklist, and assist with applications. The decision always rests with the consulate, so any agent promising a guaranteed outcome is overselling. We give you the honest odds instead.
Should I buy travel insurance?
Yes, and buy it at the time of booking rather than later. Look for cancellation, medical treatment and repatriation cover. We can arrange it alongside the trip.
What if something goes wrong at the property?
Tell us while you are still there. Most problems are solvable in the moment and considerably harder to remedy from home a week later.
