Black Sovereign Stays was built around one idea: exceptional travel shouldn't begin with a package. It should begin with a conversation.
Why we exist
Most travel today is bought from a search box. You type a city, sort by price, and book the third result. It works, in the sense that you end up somewhere with a bed.
What it can't tell you is that the sea-view rooms on floors two to four look at a car park. That the temple is unbearable at eleven and transcendent at six. That the four-hour connection you booked to save money is in a terminal with nowhere to sit.
Those aren't information problems. They're judgment problems. Judgment is what we sell.
Black Sovereign designs and arranges private journeys for people who would rather spend an hour talking to someone who knows than eleven hours in browser tabs.
What we believe
Four convictions we plan around.
Fewer places, longer
The most valuable thing we do is take destinations off a list. Three cities in ten days is usually two too many.
The room, not just the hotel
Two rooms in the same building can be entirely different holidays. We book the specific one.
Timing over sights
When you arrive somewhere matters more than whether you go. Most of the planning is hours, not places.
Honest counsel
If a cheaper option is better, we say so. If the month you've chosen is the wrong month, we say that too.
Being new
We won't pretend to be older than we are.
Black Sovereign is a young company. You'll find no invented review counts on this site, no "thirty thousand happy travellers", no decades of history we haven't lived.
What we offer instead is a set of commitments you can hold us to — a reply in four working hours, a first itinerary in forty-eight, one contact from the first message to the flight home, and a direct line for the whole time you're away.
We are a registered travel business in India. Every booking is invoiced with GST, every quote is itemised, and every rupee is accounted for. That seems a better foundation than a number we made up.
